About this book
The Complete Traditional Seder in Hebrew, English Transliteration and English Translation, Line by Line, with All the Songs
Read the whole Seder out loud, even if you cannot read Hebrew.
Now with free audio: scan the QR code inside and hear every line of the Haggadah in Israeli Hebrew.
Most of the people at a Seder table cannot read the Hebrew text, and the leader often cannot either. This Haggadah is made for that table. Every line of the traditional text is printed three ways: in Hebrew with full vowel marks, in English letters so you can say it aloud, and in plain English so you know what you are saying. Short stage directions tell you what to do at each step: when to pour, when to lift, when to dip, when to lean, when to wait for the meal.
Inside you will find:
- The complete traditional Ashkenazi Seder, from Kadesh to Nirtzah, with nothing left out
- Every line in Hebrew with vowels, transliteration and English translation, line by line
- Stage directions at every step, so a first-time leader always knows what comes next
- The 15 steps of the Seder, explained in a short guide before the Haggadah begins
- A page about the Seder plate: what sits on it, what each food means and where it goes
- All the songs: Dayenu, Ki Lo Na'e, Adir Hu, Echad Mi Yodea and Chad Gadya, with the Hallel psalms before them
- A cut-out card of the 15 steps, to keep on the table
- Large 8.5 x 11 inch format with big Hebrew letters, easy to pass around the table
